Elizabeth M. Ineson is a Visting Research Fellow at Manchester Metropolitan University. Elizabeth's research interests span Qualitative and Quantitative Social Research in the field of Management Education, Selection and Development.

課程說明

Human Resource Management issues and developments are examined and debated, using a case study approach to promote reflection on the management of contemporary issues, taking account of their potential local, national and/or international impacts. The acquisition of global experience, and the development of research, critical analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities, will be promoted using real world cases and examples.

Teaching Method:
Knowledge and experience of human resources management issues are acquired through a combination of lectures, seminars, action-learning projects, workshops, presentations and desk research. The predominant focus is on experiential learning. Students will engage in classroom discussions, directed personal studies, and independent and group learning tasks aimed at enhancing their research, managerial and teaching/ training abilities.
 
Teaching Resources:
Flexible classroom with internet and sound access for presentations. Students with access to laptops and wifi.
 
Remarks:
The coursework comprises the researching and preparation of two HRM case studies which may be used for teaching/training. Each submitted case will be given very serious consideration for publication in “International Case Studies for Hospitality, Tourism and Event Management Students and Trainees”, Volume 11, 2020, edited by Elizabeth Ineson et al. #
 
Students will use self-appraisal to assess their personal and intrapersonal qualities objectively, yet confidentially, using the Business Personality Indicator, a self-assessment instrument. At the follow-up session, each participant will be provided with a standardised summary report indicating his/her potential for performance within a management situation. Individuals will be able to identify their strengths and weaknesses and ways in which the information generated may be used to improve job performance, and for management development, will be discussed.

此課程為本校觀光研究所碩士學分班,報名學員應具備「報考大學碩士班之資格」,並請於報名時提供畢業證書影本或同等學歷相關證明。

退費規定
  1. 報名繳費後,因不可抗力之因素(需提出證明),得於一定期限內請求退費。
  2. 退費標準:依教育部「專科以上學校推廣教育實施辦法」第17條之標準辦理退費
  • 完成報名手續至開課前退費者:退還應繳金額之90%
  • 實際上課後未超過全期1/3者:退還應繳金額之50%
  • 開課後超過1/3課程者:恕不予退還費用。
  • 若校方因故未能開班,得全額退還已繳費用。
           
備註
  1. 進入實作教室請穿著標準廚師服、廚帽、圍裙、防滑鞋,並勿穿短褲、拖鞋和涼鞋
  2. 本中心不提供廚藝課程相關器具,煩請學員依各堂課程所需器具自行攜帶(※所需器具請以課程簡訊通知為主)
  3. 烘焙相關課程:請學員需自備磅秤、半圓刮片、擠花袋(18吋)、打蛋器(12吋)、桿麵棍(30cm)、橡皮刮刀、木柄抹刀、平口花嘴工具,以利課程進行。
  4. 妥善保養維護各項實習器具,如有偷竊、破壞、毀損等情事,除取消其研習資格外,並依法究辦,並請配合每堂下課器具點收及環境清潔工作(如未有確實執行清潔工作者及開課後擾亂課程秩序者,予以退訓,並不予退還學費)
  5. 課程恕不接受試聽,學員請勿攜帶孩童上課或進入實習教室,以免發生危險。
  6. 課程均為一次性課程,如有單堂課程時間無法配合,恕無法補課,亦無法提供上課錄影,還請見諒。
  7. 本中心因校內活動或教室消毒及管線維修等不可抗拒因素,常需變更師資、課程時間、場地等造成不便,敬請見諒。
  8. 因配合外在整體環境因素、天災、國際情勢等無可抗力之因素,本中心保有調整替代食材之權利。
  9. 若遇不可避免之天災(如:颱風),則依照高雄市政府公告確定是否上課;如公告“停止上班”則停止上課,擇期補課。
  10. 本校園內一律禁止吸煙,在校期間有吸煙行為者給予退訓不退還任何費用。
  11. 本校提供免費汽車停車,請於報名時告知正確的汽車車號以利提供給校門警衛放行,如未提供請學員每次上課時以換證方式進出,並請學員將汽車停妥於汽車格內。
